1. Introduction - By booking makeup services with Deby Mar Makeup Artist, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to protect both you as the client and Deby Mar Makeup Artist as the service provider. Please read them carefully before booking.

 

2. Booking and Payment - Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total service cost is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the final payment. - Full Payment: Full payment for the service is required on or before the day of the event. If paying on the day, please ensure the balance is cleared before the service begins. - Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer and credit cards.

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling - Cancellations by Client: If you wish to cancel your booking, please provide at least 30 days’ notice. Cancellations made after this period will forfeit the deposit. - Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 14 days before the event, subject to availability. A new date must be confirmed within 30 days of rescheduling. - Cancellations by Deby Mar Makeup Artist: In the unlikely event that Deby Mar Makeup Artist is unable to provide the booked services due to unforeseen personal circumstances, illness, emergency or other circumstances beyond her reasonable control, she will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable professional replacement. If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, the client will receive a full refund of all payments made.

 

4. Travel Fees - Free Travel: Travel within 19km of Oakleigh South is included free of charge. - Additional Fees: For distances beyond 20 km, the following fees apply: - All parking fees (if applicable). 20-29 km: $30, 30-55 km: $50, 56-100 km: $100, 101-200 km: $160. For distances over 200 km, please inquire for a custom quote. Travel fees must be paid in full along with the service payment.

 

5. Client Responsibilities - Preparation: Clients should arrive or be available on time with a clean, makeup-free face. - Health and Safety: Please inform the makeup artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions before the service begins. Deby Mar Makeup Artist will not be liable for any adverse reactions to products used if these conditions are not disclosed. - Products: Only professional, high-quality makeup products are used during the service. If you have specific product preferences or require your own products to be used, please inform the artist at the time of booking.

 

6. Liability and Insurance - Deby Mar Makeup Artist is fully insured, but will not be held liable for: - Any allergic reactions or skin issues caused by products if proper notice of allergies was not provided. - Damage to clothing or property during the makeup application process. - Injuries or accidents caused by third parties during the session or at the event location. - Any loss or inconvenience caused by a delay in service due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

7. Photographs and Social Media - By booking with Deby Mar Makeup Artist, you consent to before-and-after photographs being taken during your service. These may be used for marketing purposes on Deby Mar Makeup Artist's website and social media platforms. - If you prefer not to have your photos used publicly, please inform the artist in writing prior to your appointment.

 

8. Force Majeure Deby Mar Makeup Artist will not be held liable for cancellations or delays due to circumstances beyond control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, illness, or public health emergencies. In such cases, rescheduling will be offered or a refund of the deposit provided.

 

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions Deby Mar Makeup Artist reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated directly to clients upon booking.

 

10. Agreement By booking a service with Deby Mar Makeup Artist, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand and accept them prior to the service.
